Welcome Aboard! We're so excited to share the Ecuador Yoga Adventure with you.
We created this page to help with travel logistics and answer questions you may have. Feel free to reach out to Grace or Jamie with any other questions as they arise! Soon, you will receive a questionnaire that will help us with planning to include dietary preferences/restrictions, health concerns, roommate preferences, etc. This is just the beginning.
1) Getting there
Please book your own air travel. Several airlines fly out of Sacramento and Bay Area airports into Quito. Rates are very reasonable right now. It's a good time to book! You will want to arrive in Quito on May 14. This means you may be arriving late in the evening. We are coordinating a shuttle service from the airport to our first hotel. Once your reservation has been made, please email your itinerary to Grace.
The retreat concludes on May 22. We will provide transportation from our hotel to the airport that day. As of now, a negative COVID test is required for re-entry into the U.S. If that is still a requirement, we will arrange to test a few days prior to ensure that you have everything you need to safely return to the U.S.

2) Food
The food in Ecuador is fresh and delicious. All meals will be provided. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please let us know. We will be sending out a detailed form regarding this as well. In general, a soup, grain and meat or seafood and veggie option is usually served with every meal.
3) Accommodations
This retreat is based on double occupancy, unless otherwise specified and approved by Jamie and Grace. We have reserved super nice, eco-friendly accommodations. During our adventure, we have the amazing opportunity to immerse into the culture and practices of the Kichwa community. During that experience, the accommodations (for one night) will be more village centric and community-oriented. More details on that coming soon.
