About us:
Grace Kendrick is a Holistic Health Coach specializing in Ayurveda, Yoga and Mindfulness. As a busy mom and stepmom, she understands the challenge of balancing self-care with raising children. Her practice is focused on helping moms at every age and stage navigate through life changes while maintaining radiant health and happiness in their daily lives.
She is a Certified Ayurveda Specialist (C.A.S.) and holds yoga certifications through Whole Birth® Prenatal Yoga and Support, the White Lotus Foundation and Kundalini Research Institute (KRI). She is on faculty for the Yoga Teacher Training program at MindBody Zone in Fremont, CA and the Prenatal Kriya Yoga Teacher Training.

Amy's yoga journey started with bi-weekly yoga classes during her lunch break while she worked as a meteorologist. Her yoga practice changed when she took her first yoga training and went on to teach yoga outside of her regular job. She is certified with Yoga Alliance after having completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training with Linda McGrath at YogaSource in Los Gatos, CA.
After having children, she was inspired to teach yoga to kids. She is a certified YogaKids teacher and finds joy in educating the whole child by incorporating breathing exercises, non-competitive games, math, ecology, music, language, art and relaxation into her yoga classes. Because children are so busy with school, homework, and extracurricular activities, she loves being able to give them the opportunity to turn their attention inward and ‘just be’. The best part of yoga for many children is their ability to be completely still and listen to their breath.
Amy brings over 10 years of experience to her classes and encourages strength, balance, and happiness. She is the creator of the yoga curriculum for Athena Camps in San Jose and Los Altos, CA. She teaches yoga to girls at ivivva in Santa Clara and has taught community classes for the Summer Reading Program at the San Jose Public Libraries. She can also be found teaching adult yoga at the Central YMCA in San Jose.
