This year, I'm delighted to welcome Angie Hamstead, founder of The Hozho Project to co-facilitate the weekend. Angie will enchant you with her mission to inspire, educate, uplift and empower. She has a breadth of experience as a retreat leader, and we are beyond excited to share a content-rich weekend of movement, connection, art and ritual with you. All family configurations are welcome. Family Yoga suitable for ages 4 - adult will be offered. Younger siblings are welcome with parent supervision. Space is limited.

About us:
Grace Kendrick is passionate about bringing mindful parenting into every heart and home. She is the owner of Grass Valley Yoga and founder of Mama Goddess Living. As a mom and stepmom, she understands the challenge of balancing self-care with raising children. Her practice is focused on helping moms at every age and stage navigate through life changes while maintaining radiant health and happiness in their daily lives.
She is a Certified Ayurveda Specialist (C.A.S.) and holds yoga certifications through Whole Birth® Prenatal Yoga and Support, the White Lotus Foundation and Kundalini Research Institute (KRI). She is on faculty at the Prenatal Kriya Yoga Teacher Training and the California College of Ayurveda in Nevada City. |
Over a span of 25 years working within the educational and non-profit realms, Angie Hamstead has facilitated hundreds of presentations; both small and large group, interactive sessions. A native of Atlanta, GA who embraces Knoxville as home, Angie earned her degrees from Spring Hill College (Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Business) and Georgia State University (Masters in Education).
Angie has served in a multitude of positions within the educational and non-profit realms including classroom teacher, instructional coach, team leader, project manager, professional development specialist and college adjunct professor. Additionally, Angie has earned certifications by The Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness (CSEE) at the University of Tennessee , Advanced Cognitive Coaching training through the Center for Cognitive Coaching and a specialization in Positive Psychology from The University of Pennsylvania. |
